Carlos G. Flores: PC: OSX on PC

Thanks to Apple's Decision to move their computer lineup to the Intel Platform, it has given the opportunity to some unscrupulous people to install OS X on their rigs, creating a true Hackintosh.

And yes, I am one of those Scruples-lacking people.

Out of curiosity, I decided to see if my poor tortured Vaio could take a bit of abuse and run a hacked up install of Macintosh's OS X. After going into the not-so-safe areas of the net, I managed to find a version suitable for this experiment.

After many weeks of fighting with the laptop, I finally figured out a way to make OS X to make nice with XP and Ubuntu. Now I was free for testing.

In the end, my motherboard does not support the system 100%. Part of the problem is that my Processor is not SSE3, only SSE2. Even with the SSE2 Patches. Oh Well, it was a nice proof-of-concept. Eventually, I am going to build my own system, with OS X in mind, I believe that it will be fun.

It is real nice to have a triple booting system. XP, Ubuntu and OS X FTW!.
